General description

INTENDED USE:

Light Diagnostics Parainfluenza 4 Control Slides are intended as reagent controls when used with Light Diagnostics Parainfluenza 4 reagents (Catalog Number 5033 and 5034). A control slide should be tested with each specimen batch to ensure proper function of the reagent and proper staining technique.

Physical form

Each pack consists of five Parainfluenza 4 antigen control slides containing one Parainfluenza 4 infected (positive) well and one uninfected (negative) well.

Slides are provided in individually sealed foil pouches containing desiccant.

Storage and Stability

Store sealed slides at 2-8°C. Do not use slides past the expiration date printed on the label. Do not expose to elevated temperatures.

Allow slides to come to room temperature prior to opening.

WARNINGS / PRECAUTIONS:

Precaution: Handle all control slides and materials coming in contact with them as potentially infectious materials. Decontaminate appropriately.
